This track was written quickly, and in my bedroom in Eau Claire. It was written with some hasty lyrics here and there but it was a transitional time in life and the words were more a release and praise than anything else. This one reminds me of good friends, broomball, and winter time.
lyrics
there had been weather i,
found for us in the sky,
clouds and things
i thought your heart would sing for me,
i feel you in the trees,
i see you in my friends,
i hear you in the strings,
and swells in my heart for you,
things that you'd expect me to invent in my head,
like some fairy tale,
and when i'd fall asleep,
i could remember all the things,
i had promised to him,
cause i feel you in the trees,
i see you in my friends,
i hear you in the strings,
and swells in my heart,
she had some nerve to say all those things,
i save my eyes for him and his love,
i see his hands and feel holes in them,
i save my heart for him and his joy,
