I was a student at UWSP in 2008. Through connections I made at a party during that time I was made aware of the magnum opus that is your seminal album. Your album inspired me to connect more with nature and lead a more sustainable, natural life. I can see your personal path has brought you closer to God, though I do not follow that same path I want you to know the influence The Forest has had on me. Best to you and your family, and your God.

The Forest is a concept album with songs written from the perspective of over a dozen animals who all interact with each other through song and lyrics. The project was over a 3 and 1/2 year plan and the physical manifestation is beautiful. Visually it is equally beautiful with a hand crafted map and short story which come along with the lyric booklet.
